Have you ever noticed something out of the corner of your eye?

The short film "Curiosity" is the inspirational brain child and basis for the feature length film of the same title now in development. "Curiosity" marks Filmingk's endeavor into the thriller genre and is based on a true-life walk taken by director/co-writer Scott Peehl thru NYC's East Village. A shiny DVD velcroed to a walk sign caught Scott's eye and he had to pick it up. Scott's dark interpolation of that East Village experience is developing into a suspenseful and voyeuristic feature film that explores the downside of the inquisitive nature New Yorker's curious.

Director Scott Peehl explains, "Curiosity was inspired by my own experience of finding a DVD stuck on an East Village crosswalk sign. I was intrigued that someone wanted a complete stranger to pick it up and it home. What was on the disc was rather benign. It was simply a local musician's homemade music video, but it got me thinking about what could have been on it."
